Our Original Base-Mix

Cook for my dog?

Our Original Base-Mix requires some preparation, but don't worry, you're not cooking dinner for your dog every night. You cook a "batch=10 cups" at a time, of freshly prepared food. Health begins in the kitchen, diet is perhaps the most important aspect to maintaining a dog's health, besides love of course!

Sure it's healthy, but how does it taste?

Dogs love our Original Base-Mix, even the most finicky of dogs will thank you by cleaning their bowls. It's that good, in fact so good, once your dog has had a taste he or she will never settle for anything else. A food your dog will love to eat and love you for feeding it!

No Dyes, No Preservatives, No Chemicals

Commercial dog foods use preservatives to increase shelf life and artificial flavoring to enhance the way the food looks and tastes. Fresh meat does not "stay fresh" at room temperature for more than a few hours. These additives can have detrimental effects on your dog's short and long term health.

Persnickety Schnauzer

My Miniature Schnauzer is very
picky. I have tried a number of
different dog foods over the
last 6 years. I cannot believe that
he really likes Happy Dog Food.

Home cooked love

High quality dog food. Better than the delivered meals. Made at home with added protein I choose. A really complete diet for dogs.

It's still the best!!

I have been feeding Happy Dog to the last three dogs we've loved. Our recent addition, Hank, absolutely loves his Whole Grain Original mixed with ground turkey. I love knowing he's getting a wholesome and healthy meal, and best of all, he loves it! Thanks for having us be part of the happy dog family and creating such a quality product :)

Hands down the best!

Charlie absolutely loves Happy Food and make it a variety of different ways with ground beef or chicken. His excitement never seems to diminish every day and he can hardly wait until they put his bowl down… and it’s devoured in a matter of second.s. He’s a happy, healthy dog, and we are very thankful for Happy Food!

Picky, picky, picky!

This is Pearl, the pickiest eater in the world, but, she loves her Happy Dog.
